Bannu (UNN) At least 13 people were killed and over 43 others were wounded on Friday in two suicide explosions in the north, said police.
The explosions took place in Peshawar, capital of North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) Bannu district of the province.
A suicide bomber detonated his explosive-laden vehicle near the Inter-Service Intelligence's (ISI) office on Kyber Road in Peshawar when policemen signaled him to stop for checking at a checkpost, police sourcce informed.
They said that an exchange of fire also took place before the bomber rammed his vehicle into the wall of ISI office.
Sources said that the explosion completely destroyed an adjacent building, burying several people under the debris, and poked down the wall of ISI office./UNN
