Western human rights groups slam Swiss minaret ban

Brussels (UNN) Human rights groups in the West are condemning a referendum proposal held in Switzerland on Sunday to ban the building of mosque minarets in the country.

During a press conference here Monday, Human right activist condemned the move to "inflame inter-religious tensions just for political gain.
The price to pay for the referendum will be very high for Switzerland. I wonder how the Swiss who are living in the Muslim world are feeling about it, said Deletroz who himself hails from Switzerland.
He said he was sure the Swiss Muslims will test the referendum in the European Court for human rights./UNN
